Hello Year 6,

Welcome to Summer 1 - this is the half-term that we were all looking forward to! A lovely run-up to your SATS and a chance to show off all the hard work you had put in. As that is now not to be we will provide you with lots of opportunities to shine at home and show us your independent learning skills.

Each week there will be a new tab attached with a number of different tasks for you to work through and keep yourselves busy!  wink

Dear Parents and Carers,

A warm welcome to Year 6! Whilst there is a lot of hard work ahead, we are sure your child will have an exciting and fulfilling year.

We start the year with many children in the year group joining us for PGL. at Winmarleigh Hall. We are sure the children will have a fantastic time, enjoying the many outdoor and social activities.

Other activites throughout the year will include Forest Schools, when our children get the opportunity to experience outside learning. This is a wonderful afternoon led by Ms Edge.

Of course the children will take their SATS tests in May. We are sure that all their hard work throughout the year will prepare them and enable them to achieve their full potential.

We end the year with our Leavers' Production, Moving on Mass and Leavers' Assembly, as the children begin the next stage of their educational journey.
