To promote good hygiene and support talk about the Coronavirus, we will be using the e-Bug website in school. Please explore this with your child/children to learn more about our 'new normal'.
During the time of school closure, please use the following sites:
Oak National Academy (EYFS - Y6)
Oak National Academy is a new collection of high-quality lessons and online resources. Backed by the Government, it has been created in response to the coronavirus lockdown.
Our online classroom offers free access to great teachers, delivering video lessons, quizzes and worksheets. Available for both primary and secondary levels, it covers a range of subjects. All of the lessons are ordered so your child can learn along a clear plan, although you can pick and choose. We recommend using this for English and Maths, as the foundation topics don't necessarily match our topics in school.
Oak National Academy will fit alongside other resources such as BBC Bitesize to offer a structure for the day for children until schools fully reopen.
BBC Bitesize (Y1 - Y6)
BBC have produced home learning lessons online and via the red button on the TV.

Subscription sites offering free access:
Below are some of the educational websites who are kindly offering free access during any School Closures. This is an option for those children and parents who wish to keep educating at home. These websites are not only educational but lots of fun and a good way to keep busy. These sites normally charge a lot of money and we appreciate their generosity allowing learning to continue during this time.

During this time Eco Schools are also posting ideas that can be done at home within all their topics. We can use this time in our homes to help to make the environment even better for when we can enjoy it more! They will update their website every Tuesday evening at 8pm and the packs will be posted here for people to share.
